Any one have an HMO?

I have an HMO - at least in my plan the costs are a set price - so no surprises. I had to search for the correct doctor - but no urogynocologist available in the plan. You probably have the same HMO as me - I don't live too far away.
Why did you have any questions?

Any one have an HMO?

Hi
I too have HMO coverage. I'm scheduled for my surgery on 5/17. the preop was a bit of a mess going here and there due to being in an HMO. But, I am the Benefit Manager where I work so I sort of know how these things work.

After all the running around I had to do I wondered..how does someone who is eldery or without a car manage?

I have HMO <oops! no insurance company names, please>. I asked the hospital to make sure that everyone involved was in my network (anesthesialogist, lab, etc). Everything went great and no problems.
