Spot bleeding post-op 3months +? Really?

everyone. Hoping to hear from some "experienced" sisters. Just noticed I am spotting pink to redish (more liquidy than blood, I think) today. I am abt 3.5months post-op, have no cervix, have not had any spotting for a long time. Of course when I discovered this my doc's office is closed. Very surprised. I DID do an awful lot last night & today without much sleep in between. Maybe just a sign to slow down? But, gotta be kidding me its over THREE MONTHS. . Not happy.
Any insight would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Re: Spot bleeding post-op 3months +? Really?

It might be that you overdid it. I would plan to rest with my feet up and not move much til tomorrow. But, I would also call my doctor. Does he have a covering doc for after hours? If so, call them to let them know what is happening. Any new spotting could be signs of infection or another problem. I would definitely call tomorrow at the latest. Probably nothing but would check it out.
I had this happen because i overdid it but then turned out to have an infection also. So check with your doc. Sending hugs

Re: Spot bleeding post-op 3months +? Really?

Zenyatta for your reply! Thank you also for sharing what happened with you. Bc of you having found an infection I will definately follow up with my in the am. I really didnt want to call after hours since it was light & more "watery". If there does happen to be an infection it will likely be early on. I know this bc I actually had bloodwork done abt 2 weeks ago & FINALLY got results today bc I requested them (noone contacted me). All were good. Its most likely that I did too much. My recovery thread sisters are likely to give me the when they see my post . I am definately taking it easy tonight. I had LOTS I wanted to get done, but its obvious my body has had enough for now (I was up all night last night cleaning carpets & around my house).
Thank you again. And, for all
you do for so many on this site.

PS: I love your profile pic- is it your puppy?

No it's a stock picture although she does look an awful lot like this!! It is so darn easy to overdo it and then you get to pay, Even now, i have to be careful or my body starts yelling at me!
