That's the Pre-Op over with!

Hi Kparr.

Difficult to try and carry on as normal isn't it? My surgery is Monday - so, at the moment I just keep thinking, ... this time next week it will be over, and I should be well on my way to recovery, and going home.

I try to get my head into a good book or magazine, or do crossword puzzles. Try to get out, go for a walk, anything. I find being on the computer a great help. I have also made a list of people I must get around to emailing. I will do that Saturday, the day before I am admitted.

I just wanted to say good luck on your chest x-ray I have to have one the day on my surgery which by the way is mondy as well. I have been having to take allergery pills every day because I have a drainage so I am hoping that there is nothing going to stop me from having mine done as well because I think that I would just have a heart attack if it did I am so ready to get this done and over with. Good luck

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I am so happy I found this community! My friends and family try to help. But as we all know, it's hard to understand without having gone through this yourself.
