Found Lump in my armpit

The request for an ultrasound was because they can easily see if it is a cyst. It will appear to be a black hole. I've seen the ultrasound that was done when they found the second cyst. I was informed by the tech who did the mammogram last month that cysts do not show up on a mammogram.

Best wishes on the biopsy. The good news is that you will get a definitive answer. There will not be any guessing about what it is.

I was not real confident that it was a cyst when they told me the first time around. I didn't know you could get a cyst in your breast. It really scared me that it might be cancer since I have a family history of it. Since I have now had a few I understand that it is something my system does. I now have cysts on other organs in my body too. Of course, all had to be checked out to make sure they were not cancer. It has been a big scare each time, so I understand what you are both feeling right now. Cancer head can get to you.

So I talked to the Radiologist and he said it is NOT breast cancer. Its not a cyst. Maybe a swollen lymph node he said.

They didnt "see" anything on the ultrasound.

I just turned 38 and had 3 lumps removed from the same breast during the last 3 years. Now I have another one..also on the same breast..I went for mammogram and ultrasound 3 weeks ago, the doctor felt the lump but saw nothing. I am going back in Feb to recheck. I am scared because the first one I had was benign but the 2nd and 3nd were pre-cancerous. I have been suffering from breast pain for years and am tired of it.

Last week I went for my check up after having 2 lumps removed. Luckily no signs of cancer. I was relieved, but he still wants to check regularly for lumps...Thanks for the support!!!
