11 days post hysterectomy: Did anyone get a rash post op

Hello,
I am 11 days post op and have a rash that will not go away. At first I thought I may be allergic to the pain med or the z-pak but now I'm not sure. The rash started out on my belly, inner thighs, and on my forearm where the iv was. It's getting worse and driving me crazy! Please let me know if this happened to anyone else.

Hi,
I had a rash develop around my laprascopic incision sites across my belly in week 2 post op. I know exactly how you feel! If you're not allergic to benedryl take 25mg by mouth every 6hrs. You can buy it without a prescription. Also suggest using a topical ointment like hydrocortisone or benedryl over rash. Please call your doctor if it gets worse. Remember benedryl can make you very drowsy so be extra careful. Best of luck and hope you get some relief soon. I found out I was allergic to the dermabond!
