One more thing,about stitches

Hi,
Most of the sutures docs are using seem to dissolve on their own these days. All it would take is a quick phone call to them to see when they should dissolve or be removed.
I had "tails" of stitches that should have dissolved on their own, but they took forever. The doc offered to remove them so they wouldn't catch on clothes and be so annoying.
Good luck with this!

One more thing,about stitches

I had at least one stitch on each of my three little incisions that didn't dissolve right away. I could see and feel these, and they took forever to go away, but they finally did. It seemed as soon as I ignored them, and quit looking at them, they went away!

One more thing,about stitches

My belly button stitch dissolved but did so 'last'. It was very tempting at about 3 weeks to give it a tug but I restrained (every now and then I am able to control myself !)

My other stitches dissolved at about 3 weeks, the belly button one was 7 to 10 days later.

Same here ...my belly button stitch seemed to take forever to dissolve. They tried to do my hysterectomy thru lap first before "converting"
