Good morning Sisters! Have any of you seen the movies 'The Passion of The Christ' or '13 going on 30'?

Rented those two this weeked (it's raining here) so I thought I'd relax with some perppermint/ginger tea and watch them.
Has anyone seen either and could give me a thumbs up or down and a bit of what they're about? I couldn't find any really good ones, I went into a cheezy movie outlet to get them yesterday

Any input on either? I'm looking forward to relaxing in a great movie.

Have seen the passion of the Christ- it was a beautifully done movie. I liked it alot. But I havent seen the other one. I want to see the one with Richard Gere, and J-lo. I cant remember the name right now, but its about Dancing... Dance with me- maybe???
Enjoy your tea, and your movies. Sounds like the perfect day!

Hi! That's what I heard, and I've been wanting to see it for a while now. Thanks for your input, it really sounds amazing. Someone else told me that at the end, in the movie theater, that people continued to just sit there and look at the screen, they couldn't move. So, we'll see...Gotta take my pup to get her shots, I actually brushed her teeth last night heheh she did not like it!
Then....it's light food all day, tea galore, very little smoking, if any (trying so hard) and pop in the movies. I rented 13 going on 30, because it looked funny, I could only imagine what it would have been like going to bed at 13, then waking up at 30! LOL Kind of reminds me of a "Freaky Friday" type movie I guess. That movie was cute.

Beautiful day all around sisters s

I definitely enjoyed The Passion of the Christ. Have tissues handy.

Haven't seen 13 Going On 30....yet. Seems like it would be a fun movie.

Hello AngelsAnswer
We own a copy of "The Passion" and truely enjoy it, but it is very hard to watch in parts. A very well done movie.

We saw 13 going on 30 and the menfolk here didnt like it but I enjoyed it (oh one day I may have a dughter-in-law to do the chick flick evenings with!!).

We also saw Cellular and we all enjoyed that as well.

Pop up some popcorn, get some pillows and have a great time at the "cinema"!

"The Passion" is a very intense movie. I saw it in the theater and a teenage girl in front of me had to get up and leave because she was so emotional. I really loved it, but it's not a movie I ever want to watch again. At the end, nobody even talked...just got up and filed out of the theater. I had a very weak, empty feeling after seeing it. I think Mel Gibson did a wonderful job with it.

I haven't seen 13 going on 30...it looks cute though!

Oh WOW! That sums it up! The Passion was VERY intense, I had to turn it off at one part, then I came back to it, the ending was pretty good, not what I really expected though.
Looking back, I will not rent that movie again. The feelings I had inside at the end were just that--pretty intense, not sure what to do with myself! Sad and INTENSE!
