Just Back to work healthcare kitchen, 9 weeks post TAH

Wow! I knew it would be difficult, I'm 49, wanted to go back sooner so I could afford to live as well as pay my bills for the surgery, but dr messed it up for me by not giving 6 weeks in the first place, so my boss went ahead and scheduled me for the next month... but now I'm thinking she was right, came home an hour late, very bad back & leg pain, and my neck pain back too, haven't taken my pain meds in a month, but had to have one and lay on my warm gel pad in order to sleep! Hoping it gets better, one day at a time!

I'm so sorry you are having so much pain. Are you able to share with your boss that your work is causing pain? Is there a chance that you can do easier work for a while?
