At home and doing well

Hello, my sisters!

I was discharged yesterday and I cannot believe how good I feel. The doc decided on general anesthesia over a spinal, which was okay with me because my pain threshold was reaching it's max. I had a LAVH because of adhesions. I was really sick to my stomach for the first 24 hours or so, but I think that was from the demerol, as I tend to be sensitive to opiates.

36 hours post op, I was up, showering by myself and walking the halls. I'm off all meds but 800 mg Motrin at this point, but I think I'm doing too much so I'll most likely be hitting the percocet at bedtime.

I hope all my sisters are having as easy a recovery as I am!

Welcome home, it's good to hear that all went well for you.

Now that you know that you're over doing it - please slow down and be a good princess. Get lots of rest, take short easy walks, then rest some more.

yea!!! glad to hear you are home and doing fine. Thanks for the positive post - I have 4 more days to go before surgery and I have decided to read only positve posts like yours. So Thanks every so much.
You take good care of yourself now that you are home.
