Lifting?

Hi Jessyca,

I had two c-sections. I have found that the two surgeries are in no way shape or form the same recovery. This surgery takes ALOT more to recover from. The only similarity I have found is the outside incision. They are taking stuff out of you. You will have many, many more internal sutures. You have an open space that your bladder and intestines are trying to figure out how they will occupy that space.

I kinda flippantly went into this surgery thinking that I bounced back pretty quickly from the c-sections, this will be a piece of cake. I was wrong.

As far as lifting goes, the guidlelines are nothing over ten pounds for six weeks.

Please know, this is different. You did not say what type of surgery you were having. From your question I'm thinking it will be abdominal?
