Counting down the hours!

I am wide awake here and starting to get a little panicky. I did that bowel prep, drink that liquid phosphate and I feel so sick and sooooooooo hungry. God if I could only have a piece of pizza!!!!! My surgery is scheduled for 1:00pm. Thoughts are going through my head, what if one of the biopsies come out cancerous, or what if I need a bowel resection, on and on......I probably should just go to sleep but I found myself here at this website. I'm so glad that found hystersisters its been so helpful and informative. The best support system anyone could have. Well I'll be here for awhile until my eyes start to drop.

I am going in for my pre-op appointment tomorrow also. I will be sending happy thoughts your way. I almost envy you the fact that you will be on your road to recovery tomorrow evening! Just think of it, tomorrow evening you will be a real Princess! !
Just remember to take your earplugs for those noisy night shift nurses!

I know exactly what you're going through, well maybe not exactly but pretty darn close. My surgery is scheduled for 2:30pm today and I am as dry as the Mojave dessert. I still have a lot of things to do before I go. On Sunday I seemed to have some sort of burst of energy and was actually washing down my walls! It was almost like that nesting thing pregnant women go through. I kept thinking, I won't be able to do something like this for a long time. I am so ready for this to be over (or at least the surgery part).

My thoughts are with you.... and I'm sure you will be great!!
