question about PMS after surgery

HI ladies,
for really bad pms (or even pns) you can ask your dr about some meds. I take celexa for my anxiety and it does help with my pms. I don't want to strangle my husband just for breathing when I take celexa! LOL!!! Hugs Raymo (looking forward to march 22 when I will then have PNS too!)

question about PMS after surgery

I had my LAVH almost 8 months ago, and unfortunately, every 28 days, the PNS strikes again. I can see no difference from what I experienced before surgery, with the exception of no mess!!!!

I have found that it's much more tolerable w/o the bleeding to go along with it.

Good luck with your surgery.

I really appreciate everyone's response! Thanks so much. It looks like it could go either way doesn't it? Maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones! I "liked" Raymo's comment about strangling her husband just for breathing. Unfortunately, I can relate! I wish everyone well..... and I will be SO glad when this is all over and I''m back home! Emily

question about PMS after surgery

I am 5+ months post op TAH, and suffer from PNS as well! But maybe not quite as bad. I get sore boobs, crave junk food, emotional and stessed out easily. I even think I get bloated in my belly area. But it sure is nice knowing this is IT. No crazy two weeks of bleeding and pain to follow!!

GL to you!

question about PMS after surgery

Next to Thomaston, Georgia? In the deep south of the United States? No, but I sure would love to visit. We've been reading some of Farley Mowat's books and he makes it sound so beautiful there. Of course, they were written in the 40's, so I guess it could have changed some. Thanks again for the encouraging words. I hope my PMS goes away too. Emily
