Heartburn after massaging operation scar

It's been over three weeks since my hysterectomy. I am massaging vitamin E daily on my scar incision. The weird thing is that I get heartburn after lightly massaging the operation scar with the vitamin E. (I'm too big of a chicken to apply very much pressure.) Is this normal?

Exercise (30 minutes leisure walk daily) will speed up your healing and reduce scar. I wouldn't put anything on the incision - especially that you've already experienced side effect such as heart burn.
