Not feeling right.

It's been 2 1/2 weeks for me and I'm not feeling quite right either. My stomach hurts a little and I feel pangs of "pulling" inside every once in awhile. Also, I have some bruising under my belly button the length of my stomach. Is this normal? I also started to spot a week ago after nothing at all and had some itching. I called the dr. and am going in tomorrow but is this normal? He said I could use 1/2 a dose of monostat to stop itching. I just feel like I should be feeling better by now.

Re: Not feeling right.

right at 2.5 weeks i started to feel everything more...

not sure about the bruising, glad you are seeing your DR.

i felt pulling, tugging, nerve stuff... yes, all normal... listen to you body!~ i was getting off the pain med and went to just ibuprofen..

i also started spotting in week 3, apparently that is when our inside stitches dissolve...

their is a checkpoint checklist on the top of the page in the blue bar... it will help guide you through our journey!~

good luck best wishes and listen to you body

Remember everyone heals differently. I felt the same feelings you described. My doctor had to remove tons of adhesions and I did not know why my 25 year old gall bladder scar hurt. My doctor told me that was where the majority of adhesions were and it was now healing. I too had bruising develope after surgery, it's major surgery and sometimes bruising takes a while to occur.
I had a tiny amount of spotting on and off - mostly just when I would wipe but did not have any itching. Keep an eye on it and call the doctor again if you have to.
Good Luck on your recovery!!
