I'm home!

Hello,

Went into the castle Monday am, op Monday pm, home thursday am.

Feeling pretty good, for all you LIWs, I didn't have any pain worse than a moderate period pain, a lot better than I was expecting. Bought far too many sanitary towels which I will now never need! Hooray!

My best things to take:

LOOSE pants (I wish I had taken notice of this one - everything swells up after), disposable facial wipes, portable mini radio & earphones.

Good luck to all of you, it is not as bad as you think.

I'm home!

Congratulations - I'm glad you're doing so well. Don't forget to go slow, drink lots of water and let people treat you like a princess for as long as possible.

I'm home!

Welcome Home- Make sure you get plenty of rest, and no bending or lifting. Drink tons and tons of water and take those walks. It really helps with the gas pains and helps to get your first BM moving along. I am still taking stool softeners and a laxative every night. It seems to work for me.

They found endo during my surgery too. Ended up having it fuse my ovaries together and attach to my kidneys and rectum. So everything went.

I'm a little over 2 weeks post op now, feeling a little sore and tired but doing pretty well.

It's great that everything went so well. I'll be thinking of you during your recovery. It's kind of a slow process, so take it easy.
