grocery shopping...overdid it

i overdid it yesterday I'm mad at myself. I've felt so good and almost back to normal so I went food shopping.....Unfortunately my cart was overflowing and was heavy. As I was shopping i was regretting it because i felt pulling as i pushed the cart. I also unloaded and put away all the groceries by myself. I could have waited till my husband got home. I know he would have gladly done it but i wanted to do it myself. I also could have waited until my kids were home from school because they too would have helped me. I will rest most of the day today. I have what feels like pulled stomach muscles and abdominal cramps. I hope with rest i will feel better. Have any of you gone food shopping yet?

I know how you feel, I vacuumed on wednesday ( I know Im not supposed to but the floor was gross) and have been miserable ever since. I havent gone grocery shopping but was considering it...glad I read your post first! Hope you feel better.

I haven't shopped yet, but I overdid it by going to church last Sunday. Had the bleeding and crampy feeling the whole day. And even now, if I sit up too much (like yesterday) I end up with that crampy feeling when I lay down. I just ache all over today and it's frustrating. 2 weeks post-op and I'm still so weak.

I went grocery shopping just over a week post op. only thing I did though was walk. I took my sister with me, she loaded and unloaded the cart. once I got home, it was cold enough outside, I left everything in the car untill my kids arrived home from school. I was sore and began discharge afterwards, but, was going crazy being cooped up in the house. Just wanted to get out and to see how much I could handle. lol I`ve had worse days since that one and that was the only time I have been out or really done anything other then dr appt. Just be careful and relax A LOT!
