I will be at three weeks on Monday. I have been pretty much back to normal since week 2. Dr. told me I could resume normal activities at week 2, and I thought he was nuts. He was right. My only limitations are "no powerlifting" and no intercourse. I've been shopping, done laundry, vacuumed, put salt in the water softener...all things I didn't think I would be able to do. I am not going back to work until June 6.

I'm past 3 weeks and feeling better everyday. except yesterday but that was my fault tring to put my navel ring back in laying down. Ouch !! I was sore for a day no more of that. mostly short walks down the street 10 to 20 min. very slow. shuffling around the house fixing small meals, sitting outside watching the weeds grow and the birds in the yard. I wake up at 3:30am every night sometime i go back to sleep sometimes i don't.. other than that drinking lots of water and resting. keep well ladies : )

3 weeks post op on Tuesday. Things are great. I have been walking since I was still in the hospital to get things moving. Yesterday was the first day I drove and carried my 15 month old son. Pain is almost gone, but the incision gets sore and itchy when I am up too much. Premarin is amazing! No side effects of menopause!

3 weeks as of tuesday! still having bowl issues, starting to wean off the pain meds a little bit-as long as I don't do something stupid you know like having the nerve to do the laundry! sigh.....

well, I needed clean clothes! I had somebody do the carrying but I went up and down the steps three times to switch them from washer to dryer and my belly was not happy!

I"ve been on a few outings with my folks and did pretty well. all in all I'm doing pretty well, bending and turning in bed is still a challenge, but as long as I'm either upright or laying down-nothing hurts!

Had a busy day today - going stir crazy and HAD to get out. Went to the shopping centre,dh bought me a new lipstick and lunch and then went round a few shops - forgot I wasn't supposed to carry (duh !!) until I had bought the 3 magazines and 2 books so had to find dh in another shop to carry bag. Walked back to car and dh drove to the garden centre where dh pushed trolley round and I pointed to the plants I liked !! Also took the dogs for a walk - twice round a local field - have only managed once up until now. Alli n all quite a lot of walking - feeling good though - just hope I don't suffer later.

Is anyone close to 3 weeks having issues with digestion? Seeems if I try to eat anything other than soup it just doesn't work. I'm on stool softeners and have tried GasEx occasionally. I'm eating bran, drinking lots of water and moving around some.

Other than being tired (make that exhausted) at times, life is good. How is everyone else doing?

I am at 3 weeks and 2 days. Truthfully I am not having many issues at all. I drove at 1 week and started back to work as well. There really isn't much I can't do. I have even been told I can have sex in 1 more week. I have a little tug here and and there and that's about it. I can say though that the hormones or lack there of are starting to bug me. Sore breasts, tired, moodiness, can't concentrate..... That I can do without. Anyway good luck to the rest of you. I am like some others too much to do and no one else so... Might as well suck it up and do it. Hope all heal well. ~
