When can I start jogging/running again?

Hey friends!
I am 5 months post op and am wondering if you all think it is too soon to start jogging/running again. My stomach still swells sometimes, and I was just thinking it might be too soon?
I know I should call my dr., but I keep forgetting to call.

Hi Grace,

I started running again at six weeks, which is when the doctor released me for all activities. I had to start slow, but now, at two and a half months, I'm back to my normal routine. I'd still check with your doctor if you're not sure, though.

I'm running again too. I am 14 weeks out from my complication major abdominal surgery. I started back at 7 weeks. I started slowly also and I'm still not quite back to my usual but I'm getting there.

Check with your Dr but you might find out all is good to go

i was cleared to start running again at 2 weeks. unless you had major complications, there should be no reason you cant run. check with your dr just to make sure though.
