Kegels

Good to do already? or nota/

Somewere on this website there was a link to exercise that was acceptable and at what phase. I found it at around 2 weeks and it was cleared to do kegels. Try to find the link(it might be in the checkpoints forum) or be sure to ask your DR.

The sight also had some simple stomach exercises. They feel good just to be stretching the muscles some. Becareful though!

My doctor told me not to do kegels until he released me to do so. For me, it was at my 6 week post-op appointment. All doctors and their patients are different, so I would ask your doctor for his/her suggestion regarding kegels during and/or after your own recovery.

Like mentioned, all Dr's have their own rules. For me personally, I was cleared to do them immediately post-op.
