One week post-op, abdominal pain - hematoma

I am one week post-op LAVH, have had a pretty good recovery to date. I have a history of endometriosis, had the Mirena IUD for almost 5 years when it displaced and became embedded. Once removed, I had horrible episodes of hemmorhagic bleeding and clotting, making the decision for hysterectomy an easier one. I am 42, have two daughters (17 and 21) and have no interest in additional pregnancies or continuing to go through painful cycles. My biggest fear was that I have a terrible reaction to anesthesia and pain meds. Decided to skip the spinal since Morphine is used with for pain management. No narcotic pain meds post-surgery - have been doing well with Toradol only. Very, very little bleeding and pain has been tolerable. I kept both ovaries.

Yesterday the typical gas pains turned into longer lasting spasms that double me over for several minutes and I've had about 10 episodes, sometimes ending in a bowel movement that cause me to be in the same kind of unbearable pain until a minute or two afterward. My doctor saw me this afternoon and could feel something on exam - most likely a hematoma or ovarian cyst. Ultrasound could not locate either one of my ovaries (?) and said there was a lot of bowel in the area. No obvious hematoma, but did bloodwork to be sure no infection. I also feel some increased bladder pressure but no real pain.

Any similar issues? Where might my ovaries be hiding? Any suggestions? I'm feeling fortunate for the most part that my first week has been pretty uneventful. After today's internal and external ultrasound, and poking and prodding exam, I'm pretty uncomfortable and having some increased bleeding.
