What's going on?

I kept 1 ovary and have had no symptoms of menopause since surgery. Last night when I got up for the bathroom, I has a really intense hot flash. I was going to set down on the floor because I was really dizzy and knew I wouldn't make it back to bed before it passed. Next thing I knew, I came to on the bathroom floor with my dogs standing over me wimpering and nudging me. I had menopause symptoms for a couple yrs prior to surgery, but none since. It's like the ovary woke up and started doing it's job.

I have been under the impression that my ovary was working w/o any problems. Can they only work off and on? I'm seeing my Dr tomorrow so I'll ask him, but has anyone else experienced this?

What's going on?

I have had hot flashes, and light night sweats, but have never passed out, or felt dizzy in any way.
I would suggest you call your doctor about it - you shouldn't be passing out!
