will we always be dry from now on??

Prior to surgery I never had a dryness problem. Now? Astroglide is my friend. I hate it. I feel like it limits what I can do, how often and increases my showers lol

I have to stop a lot to lube up and sometimes it's painful for both me and him. I'm curious if this is a permanent thing or what? I'm 6 months out from surgery.. and still have both ovaries but no cervix or uterus

We like AstroGlide!

Don't be sad. We all loose moisture as we get older. Make a game out of applying the lube! It used to bother me when we needed to use it, but now we enjoy it. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Be creative.

will we always be dry from now on??

G'day

I have just been to the Chemist (Drug Store) to ask about this ame thing.

Apparently there is a product that has been specifically developed to help with permanent lubrication - REPLENS - KY and AstroLube are just for the moment - where as REPLENS helpt the tissues heal and become more lubricant on a more permanent basis.

The Chemist is ordering it in for me, so will let you know how it goes.

I am 52yrs old and had a LAVH BSO so will need all the help I can get.

Barbiebikerbabe, - I agree we now have to be inventive. I must admit it is a little off putting having to think before you act and a little embarrasing, but hey things could be worse - so this is one mountain I am going to have to conquer.

Glad to see I am not the only one who is a little embarrased about having to use this stuff.

Good luck

Kezza
