Insurance denied me.

Hey sisters! I could use some advise & help. I got a call from my surgeons assistant saying that my insurance denied me for surgery. I have a call in to the insurance agency to see why but dont know what to do in the mean time. I have vaginal vault prolapse, rectocele, cyctocele, & pain in my lower back. As well as pre-cancerous cells! I have work all det for me to he gone & am literally scared that i will have to live with this!

I am so sorry you were denied.

Do call your insurance and see why it was denied. Ask your doctor what they would recommend - sometimes they can re-file, asking for approval.

Yes, I agree with the previous post. Follow up with your insurance to find out the reason you were denied and how to file an appeal.

If your appeal is denied you need to go to next step which is to contact your Heakth Insurance Commissioner to file a complaint against the insurance company to see if you can get it overturned.

Do not give up. Be an advocate for yourself.

Give us an update as to how you're doing with your claim.

Let's hope it was a paperwork error as those happen all the time and you'll have your approval soon.
