Thank you for your reply. My doctor is having a GYN-oncologist present at my surgery. He's from a very prestigious(sp.?) hospital in the area. Depending on exactly what has to be done, either she or he will be lead surgeon, with the other assisting. At this point, I'm so stressed about the surgery, I'd let my plumber do it if I thought it would happen sooner! Only kidding, as I'm sure you know. They're taking everything from me so it's about all I'll have left - my sense of humor. IMO, you certainly can't keep your diginity or privacy in a hospital.
