Wow, CHE CHE, you are online FAST! 2 days after abdominal surgery! My best advice to you is to stay on the pain meds regularly for the first 4-5 days...don't try to be a superwoman! I did and it backfired!!! Take the meds if they are offering them!

Hey Cheche we have the same hyst date I had a TAH as well, how are you feeling. I'm mediocre but I t hink it's from increasing my activity. I'm having a harder time staying put now.

I have a question for you ladies. I had an abdominal hysterectomy,but, kept both my ovaries. My moods change often. I can be crying one minute, mad or smiling. Do you find that your spouse is unsympathetic to what you are going through. My spouse doesn't understand and I try to make him, but, he could care less.

Men will be men thats for sure! They don't understand the extinct of the changes our bodies are going through. Mine asked me if I will still have periods after my surgery! As if I didn't tell him a million times that I was having the surgery to STOP my periods! I've kept my ovaries and cervix and had the Sub total abdominal. Patience Ladies!
