I am home from the castle

I had my surgery on July 17th, woke up with a bruise on my stomach.from my belly button to my incision and from hip to hip, a fever and lots of pain wish I was more positive.I came home Friday the 20th after signing myself out of hospital.Dh has taken good care of me.I am taking percocet and ibuprofin.pain is not as bad as it was.taking short walks around house and in front yard.took a nice shower today since it was 91 degrees and humid outside it felt great.Ihave to go to Dr.s tue(tomarrow) to have staples removed and blood checked I am anemic.I use a bag of family sized frozen corn for my abdomin (not incision) which feels like I was batting practice for a street gang.however my incision looks good.getting stronger everyday.thanks-hystersisters.

Dear Denise,

I'm glad that you feel well enough to post, but why did you sign yourself out of the hospital? Was it against medical advice? If so, please be very, very careful.

Please continue to get lots of , lots of fluids and let your family pamper you.
