Surgery tomorrow 8am, doing well

No more cooking, cleaning or other housework! Nothing left to plan or think about. I'm actually resting both physically and mentally for the first time in weeks.

And also no more eating! Liquid diet at this point. However... I'm enjoying some Campbell's chicken broth right now. I've learned from colonoscopy preparations how satisfying the Campbell's is.

An hour ago I took the Magnesium Citrate. I remember from my last colonoscopy it took hours to work. Didn't bother me at all when I finally went. I have an enema in 6 hrs. No problem with that.

Everything I'm taking to the castle is packed in my gym bag.

I've never had major surgery or even experienced much pain. So I've never taken painkillers except for something mild when I had wisdom teeth pulled 45 yrs ago. Dr claims the pain killers will be in the IV already as I wake up after surgery.

Dear friend is a nurse where I'm going and plans to visit me when her shift ends at 7pm.

I'm glad this is finally here...it will be over soon and hopefully no cancer.

I hope the rest of you feel as good as I do the day before surgery.
