My uterus was photographed...

Hi, I didn't ask, but I wished I had. My Dr said mine was so infected it was green... now I wish I had seen it. I know its weird to want to see it, but I wanted to know what the thing looked like that was giving me so much trouble. Take care! Melanie

My uterus was photographed...

Hi Gordonk,

That is cool you have photos. I don't have those, but then my doc said my ovaries, tubes and uterus all looked normal..so I guess there was nothing to really take a pic of. I was surprised she did not find any adhesions, cysts or tumors..nothing. she said it all looked very good and normal. I was SO relieved when she said my uterus did not show any signs of cancer on the outside....so I am very hopeful the precancer was all contained inside. I am to call tomorrow for my pathology report...oh I hope it's good news. I know it will be. I could feel God reassuring me for the past few weeks in the end it would still be only pre.

How are you feeling????? Other than tired...I am doing really good. I have no bleeding anymore...only today a very light clear discharge. I am urinating welll and had my first poo this morning...so life is good lol.
Hope you're doing well!!!! Let me know ok? Thanks

Hugs

My doc was so impressed w the size of the fibroids she took Polaroid pics. I can't get copies, but it was interesting to see what was giving me so much pain. Glad that's over with, now just to get over the post-op...

My uterus was photographed...

My doc took pics of my fibroids after my myomectomy for me. For my TAH he said he would have pathology take pics of my uterus. I think they don't want to be responsible for people's camera equip, and I'm sure would prefer to focus on surgery instead of "oh, man, where's that camera?"

Too cool! I too saw pics of everything, including my gallbladder, liver and some other inside organs that they took while they were in there. Apparently they go ahead and check some other things while they are in there for ya. I thought it was pretty neat. I saw them 1 wk post-op when I went in b/c of pain in my perineum and wanted to make sure the itching on my perineum was from healing and not a yeasty, which it wasn't thank goodness.
