Scared to tears (literally)-please help!

Hello Whiteroses,

I know how you feel by being so scared to tears. I had my left tube and ovarie out when I was 3 months pregnant, I think the hardest part is waiting for the meds to kick in for you to fall asleep. I know I cry while I was waiting and I tryed so hard not to cry, but I got up after and felt the emotions I had over everything melt away. Even knowing all that you still get scared because I have to go in now and get everything removed and I'am scared to tears again myself. But the best thing to do is talk with people you love and now on here with people that have gone through it. I'am new myself to this site but your welcome to talk to me anytime and share how your feel. I know how good it feel to let it out=)

Scared to tears (literally)-please help!

Anesthesia has come a long way baby! They even have equipment utilized to work with the anesthetist that monitors your brain waves to alert if your body is feeling pain when it shouldnt...so no fears! Everything is very closely monitored. When I talked to my anesthesiologist before the surgery I expressed to her my desire to have no nausea/vomiting and no pain afterwards. She did the trick because I had none whatsoever! Also after she talks to you she will give you some "happy juice" and that is all you will remember until you wake up and say "Is it over?" This might sound a little over the edge, but I actually have no dread over any future surgeries now and really enjoyed that period of recovery where everything was nice and relaxing

I hope all you Princesses here do wonderfully!
