Upcoming hysterectomy 5/19 - concerned about post-op pain relief

I had no narcotics at all, just Tylenol and toradol in the iv. It was great, I felt no pain at all, and when they took the iv out later that night, I didn't need to take anything else, ever. This was actually standard protocol at the hospital was at the time and it was great. I avoided all of the side effects like constipation, etc. definitely talk to your dr.
