5 days post hysterectomy: Pain after BM - Help!

I need help or advise from my fellow Post Surgery ladies

I had surgery Tues and my bm are normal. I have had no issues with gas or BM. I am having issues inmediately after the BM. I have a sharp pain on my left side once the BM has passed. I cannot move or do anything for about 15 mins. The sharp pain is unbearable, I have a call into the Dr. It only occurs sfter BM and I have been going regularly.

Not had that happen, usually the pain for me was before a BM. However, I did notice some consistent pain that went away ( eventually) on my left side after a BM and/or some other specific movement. The bowel, in my case, had been pushed around by a uterus that was too big for her britches.. and I am guessing it does take a while to find it's place in my abdomen again. but your DR would certainly know best.

In my instance, a lot of the strange pains really went away after week 5. Hang in there!

Im going to see the Dr tomorrow and if it worsens, to the ER I go.
