Has anyone else had problems healing ?

I hope this doesnt sound too much like whining, I kinda need to talk to someone and I know my dh is tired of hearing it. Since December I have had a ruptured Kidney, a C-section and a total abdominal hysterectomy. after my hysterectomy a week later a blood clot was found and I had the pleasure of being "packed" for a week when they "closed" the incision back they only used steri-strips needless to say my wound healed "uneven" so now I am waiting for the "overhang" to produce a skin covering. I am still having some bleeding and of course the protein "ooze" This is 6 weeks (or close) post-op. I am in the military and am expected to be back at physical training etc and feel horrid that right now I am unable to do it. Has anyone else had a problem like this with the overhang ? The dr told me I could have reconstructive surgery later but I am now trying to deal with the healing of it. If anyone has any hints to help me get over this I sure would appreciate it. I have been trying to keep a positive attitude but am finding it hard the last week or so. Thank you all for letting me vent.

I know how you feel

Although its not the same things I had my TAH in Jan and yes I am a slow healer with many complications. I have alos had more pop up. It is alright to vent here in the Road that what we sisters are here for we also have very big shoulders to lay your head on for support and I have found over the months both Pre and Post. God knows I spent many a tear here and still do. I have also gone to chat and they are great. I have made a couple of close friends that I PM with that offer great support in times of need. Please know that you are not alone and for some healing is slower in some than others as I have found out. Take advantage of being a Princess follow the rules that the doctor gives you and time will heal you. I never thought that this would be coming out of my mouth two months ago. So big s to you.
