24 hrs. to go/nerves????

Going to the castle in the morning, 8:00am......
DH & DS going with me... WOW, 24 hours to go and I don't know what to do with myself, I cannot relax, can't keep myself busy because I get tired so fast.....I don't know why because I am an active person....

Had pre-op yesterday, what a zoo..got to the castle at 10:00am and finally left at 4:30pm..............:grrrr: They suceeded at tap dancing on my last nerves, I have none left....

Tried to get everything together here at home, but DH says not to do anything, just relax, yeah right!#$^$&%*^(

DH came home late from work last night, ready to eat his head off for not calling, tried to ask why he was soooooo late, starting to get honkerblonked , then he pulled out brand new jammies and new comfy socks and a stuffed animal to take to the castle , losts of 's

Good luck with your procedure and we shall see you on the other side. I had a tvh not a tah so I can't tell you what to expect. I have gone through these 24 hours and I send many prayers to you.

I know I should say try to relax, but I know from personal experience that it won't do any good, so I'll just say try to hang in there!

Your husband sounds wonderful - what a sweetie!

Your hubby sounds very caring and supportive. What if you got away from all of the stress by taking a walk, having lunch with a friend, or going to see a movie? It's very hard to relax when you have so much left to do, but you also need your rest so you're calm for the surgery. Light a candle, put on some good music, and sink into a tubful of bubbles with a good book.
