3 months Post Op

I had a TAH on April 9th due to having a soccer size mass on my right ovary. My incision opened up completely after they removed the staples. Spent last 3 months having home health come in and pack and bandage my incision. Finally over and back to work as of last week.

Re: 3 months Post Op

I had my DaVinci robot hysterectomy on April 13, and thought I was done with the pain and the side effects - but - due to the Lymph node removal formed a Lymphoseal(sp?) and sprung a leak! By this point - sex with my husband should be perfectly ok - but apparently I popped a stitch and lymph poured out - like my water broke! Alarming - who knew?? After more tests including a CT with that horrible Barium contrast and it's side effects - hopefully all behind me now. I hope?? Best Wishes to you both!

Re: 3 months Post Op

Didn't have any symptoms until about 2 weeks before it was discovered. Had surgery 2 days later.
