Holy Hormones, Batman! First PMS/cycle after surgery - kept one ovary. Feel awful!

I feel horrible. I am 3-weeks post op and having my first dealings with PMS after surgery. I kept one ovary. I had PMS before, but it was manageable. Right now I am so miserable and having awful anxiety. I am full of dread, and this is not like me! I am normally very level-headed. My hormones have been off since surgery, I think. I have been having problems with my heart racing and low blood sugar. I am intolerant to hot and cold. My hair is falling out. I also think my thyroid is low, but I have an appt with my endo in 4 days and he'll check my levels. I switched my thyroid med from Levoxyl to Armour about 2 months before surgery and we may need to tweak the dose.

Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and healing well. I am hoping this will pass in a couple of days. I had AF during my surgery, so I'm due in about a week. I'm hoping my hormones will level out sooner.

Oh, I am very sorry that you are having to deal with all of this. It is still very early in your recovery and I am sure it will get better. You are going to see your doctor soon and you will get some help then. good luck and just hang in there. Keep looking until you find some answers and relief.

So sorry to hear that. Please keep us posted! I also kept one ovary, but am less than a week post-op so don't know what to expect in terms of hormones. It's helpful to know of someone else going through this with one ovary kept. Like you prior to surgery I was not anxious or depressed or had PMS that I couldn't control. (I def had PMS and most people in my life knew of it, lol, but it wasnt unbearable)
