5 weeks post-opp questions

Hi Ladies,

I am 5 weeks post-opp and have a couple of questions about pain. I still get twinges where my ovaries used to be, also I have a sore spot to the touch, just under my belly button. But the weirdest thing is last night I had some weird pains in my vaginia. (I had a TAH BSO) I had not had any pain in that area before, it didn't last long and I can't really describe it. Anyone else at 5 weeks still having these conplants? Nothing seems serious enough to call the Doctor. I have my 6 week check up on Wednesday. Thanx, Cat

I too have had those pains in the vaginal area...and I also can't describe them. I'm sorry you are having discomfort.

I'm glad you are seeing your dr on Wednesday...but maybe a phone call today would put your mind at ease. It does sound like regular healing pains...but I'm not a dr., and only your MD can be sure. Do you have a family dr that you could call/see in the meantime? I tend to always play things on the safe side cause I'm a worry wart!

Cathy, I am 5 weeks post op and I've had some of those weird pains you are talking about.
Probably healing pains like Judestar said. If they are not too serious, wait and mention them to your doctor
at your appt. on Wed. But if it is really bothering you, then give him a call. Can't hurt! Might make for a better weekend. Take care!

I around your stage of recovery, I also had a lot of strange aches and pains. They seemed to vary in location and intensity, for no apparent reason.

Please call your doctor if you are concerned, but it sounds like just healing pains!
