How are you feeling today?

I am doing good. Yesterday the first few hours post op were rough, They hadnt gotten meds in me before I woke up in recovery. I woke up with horrible pressure feeling in my rectum and vagina, The nurses kept trying to talk to me and get me to open my eyes, and all I could do was lay there crying "my butt hurts, my butt hurts, I need to poop, Im bout to poop on the bed!" How embarrassing!! I didnt need to poop, the pressure was from swelling etc my Dr had to do so much manipulating in me.

Now that my pain is under control I am feeling OK. I cant get up and move around for more than a few minutes because it honestly zaps everybit of gumption I have right out of me. I am swelled so bad that I look 9 mths prego, and I am really tender and sore from my breastbone to my pelvic bone, but its manaegable. Unlike most people who get their davinci incissions below the navel...all of mine are above my navel. My Dr said it was easier to go in above the navel to get around the scar tissue, and he prefers the incissions higher up because it gives him a better view.

Oh and I was told Id be in the OR 3-4 hours.... I was rolled into OR at 9am, and at 1015 my Dr went out and told my mom they were done and I was headed to recovery!! I cant believe he did it so fast.

And now....Im headed home!

WOW! That's the fastest I've seen thus far! Glad to hear your doing well. Take it easy and don't forget to pamper the princess!!!
