3 weeks post hysterectomy: Cuff pain; Could this be nerves healing?

If I move around this morning I get an awful stabbing pain in my vagina. I'm almost 3 weeks out from my surgery. Could it just be nerves healing?
I wanted to go to the movies today.

It could be that or it could be that your cuff stitches are starting to dissolve which caused twinges of pain for me and a bit of discharge. However, if your pain is really severe stabbing pain, it may be an infection or something that needs to be looked at soon. You may want to give your doc, or the on-call doc a call.
