Hot flashes a week after partial.

The last two nights I have woken up with terrible hot flashes. I have them off and on now through the day. I have an appt. with my Dr. on Monday and I will be sure to mention it to her. I had a partial leaving my ovaries and cervix. I heard the ovaries can shut down for a bit after surgery and wake back up later. For now what the heck should I do to tame these hot flashes? I put on makeup for the first time today and sweated it all right back off. Any suggestions to hold me over until Monday?

Me too. Seems my ovaries have not adjusted the blood flow issue, and I have entered medically induced menopause at 44....sorta sucks that I didn't know and was never told by any of my docs that this could happen...Here's hoping your ovaries wake up!
