TAH: Finally have a date!

Hello Sisters
After a bunch of getting the run around, I finally have a date booked. September 30th at 10:30am. I go for my pre op on Monday at 11:00am.
So I guess my count down is on.

Me too. Just got my date yesterday,it's October 8. Have to check with H.R. department at my hospital where I work though to see if I have to give 30 days notice, so might have to reschedule.

So glad to hear you've got your date.
I am going to see my Dr today to see if he can refer me to another area in the province where the wait times are shorter.

I just found out today that mine is set for Oct 14th - had to push it out a week later than my dr wanted but there was scheduling issues at work. Now that that is all taken care of and they are prepping for me to work from home for a few weeks everything is falling into place or so I hope.

I am getting a little nervous and am trying to get all my bases covered.

klyne3- glad to hear you are all set to go too. it is so frustrating when things dont fall into place.

Yeah well I had to give 30 days, so went from Oct. 8 to Nov 19. But that's ok cause I will now have Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Years off. Oh well they wanted the 30 days not me lol
