Different bowel issue

Yes it's funny to be discussing poop- better to do it on the boards than to gross out our family and friends!

I have dealt with that same feeling for a long time not just post op. Doctors have told me to add fiber, everytime I did it just seemed to make things worse so I never really gave it a chance. But recently I found a product from Walgreens called "Daily Fiber & Probiotic", it is Walgreens brand so not very expensive. I started out with a small dose and worked my way up to the suggested dose. Once I got to the suggested dose it kicked in and started working. After I was on the regular dose for about a week, I started feeling constipated, so I went back down to one less capsule a day. It is working great! It added bulk and I only go once or twice a day now instead of running to the bathroom all day long. Passing it is much easier now too. FYI, the fiber is 100% Natural Psyllium Fiber. Make sure you take it with a lot of water. Hope this helps!
