1 week post hysterectomy and feeling blue.

Hi, I have a Da Vinci Hysterectomy about a week ago. Everything have been removed except one ovary. I am not on Percocet anymore before it made me sick. Right now beside feel sick to my stomach, I am also feeling blue. It is the same feeling right after you had a baby. Please let me know this is normal and it will be better with time. Right now I just asked myself what I have done to myself. More info about me, I normal a happy person and do not feel depress except when I am stress out which is once in a while. Oh I have 3 boys and I am done, so it is not about cannot have kids anymore. I cannot wait to feel normal again.

Your hormones are all messed up and your body has been through a lot. Takes some time to get back to "normal"

I can totally relate. It got so bad I spent hours crying after everyone went to school and work. Snapped out of it at the end of week two beginning of three. I think its anaesthetic and lack of hormone from one ovary. I was removsl of uterus and one ovary. I hope it subsides. I was a mess and can totally relate. Hugs!
