Bad smell in urine and discharge post-op, 14 days

Hi, I am new here and having trouble getting my doctor to see me....the nearest date I can get in is June 22 but think that there is something wrong and not sure if I should go and sit in Emergency for 6 hours which is the normal wait time here. About 5 days ago (9 days) I have had a bad odour to my discharge which of course makes my urine smell also. Its very hard to describe the smell. I am worried that this means that I may have an infection. I have no fever with it though so it is making me wonder if it is normal to have this. I was wondering if there is any information on this?

There is a link on the home page of the site that describes the odour.I had a weird smell to discharge around that time to and they say it is due to the dissolution of the stiches and the colour can be beige brown.The thing to look for is a fishy smell....if so it could be a vaginal infection and has to be treated with antibiotics.If you have no uti symptoms like needing to pee often and in small quantities,burning when peeing or even a discoloration to urine and abdominal pain that is not related to surgery then you should be fine.Do you have a fever?I f I could describe the smell...it was almost like gas fumes but not .I know that I had never smelt anything quite like it.So,I hope this helps you and if you are still concerned,go to ER to set your mind at ease.

I have such a strange smell to my urine.... Kinda Musty smell>I keep taking showers , and drink alot of water?? Think the smell could be the sutures disolving?? Anyone know for sure? Hope it goes away!!

Really cold and my urine smells really strange? Have any ideas?

Cold like chills? Are you running a fever? Any burning or constantly feeling like you have to go? Blood in the urine?

I know when I have a UTI starting I often have quite foul smelling urine, sometimes that is the first symptom. If it last much longer you may want to check in with your doctor and get checked for a UTI.
