Released to return to work after TAH/BSO

Wow Cmag! That does seem early. My doc wanted me to stay off work for 8 weeks. I split the dif and returned at 7 weeks. Why not try half days to start? I also basically sit at my job...it can be hard on your incision and abdomen. My first two weeks back, a 4 to 5 hour work day was plenty!

Robin a/k/a afrenchfry, I am going in to work tomorrow at 7 a.m. Desk job and answering phones only. Tomorrow will be exactly 3 wks post op. The only problem I am having is a small bit of discharge which only happens occasionally; like when I do a little too much. I don't plan to put in a full day yet at work, but I still want to give it a shot. I tried working on my 10th day and found out I was only able to stick it out for 4 hrs. So far 4 hrs. has been my limit. I saw my doc last Wed. and he still tells me that I am doing great. I just wish everyone could recover as fast as I have. I don't want to jinx myself, but if I do have a setback I promise to post it.
