Swelly Belly again - how high up?

Hi Ladies,

I have another question on swelly belly. Is the swelling just lower abdominal or does it involve the entire abdominal area?

I still after a year have swelling (not a lot--don't get worried) on the left side over the waist but not the right. Actually, once the swelling went down, I was flatter than when I started! But those pants I bought two sizes larger were so good for a couple weeks!

My swelling was in the lower left of my stomach, near where the incision starts. I felt so lopsided!! But it does go away. Mine pretty much is gone at eight months.

Hi.I am 16 days post op and have noticed a lot of my swelly belly has gone down but still have some. From my own experience , I had swelling all over my abdomen. As a matter of fact , the first time I tried to put a bra on , it was tooooooo tight. Today I dressed up a little and went for a ride with my family and my clothes fit better and I have worn a bra very comfortably for the past 2 days now. I am mainly wearing gowns and dresses because it is more comfortable for me but I can tell the difference as times goes by. I am taking it very easy , not over doing it , so that may be helping also.
