11 weeks post op in pain and feel completely alone

My pain has started coming back the last 2 days. I feel completely alone and feel that my loved ones are done with me feeling this way. I'm lost...I thought this was behind me

Re: 11 weeks post op in pain and feel completely alone

Have you talked to your dr about the pain. You definitely need to see what's up if the hyster was supposed to be a "fix" for your issues. to you sister I hope it gets better for you.

Re: 11 weeks post op in pain and feel completely alone

I spoke to my doctor and he said that he did not think it was from surgery since I was feeling better for awhile. He suggested that it could be ovulation since I kept my ovaries. He mentioned that he would do a sono if I wanted. I really thought he was going to say it was part of recovery and it took me back when he said that I should no longer have pain.

Re: 11 weeks post op in pain and feel completely alone

One thing I have realized is that no one can tell us how we are "supposed" to feel and when. All of our bodies are so different as well as our surgeries and bottom line is it will probably take 6-12 MONTHS to feel anywhere close to normal. I for one don't care what anyone else thinks. If they haven't had my exact surgery, etc they have no idea where I am or "should" be. Be patient with you and do all you can to find out where the pain is coming from but don't let anyone make you feel like you aren't "measuring up" or doing good enough. It is your body and this is your chance to heal correctly!! Hugs and healing to you! Know that all of your sisters here are thinking and praying for you!!
