Three months out & Running on Empty

Ladies, I am e x h a u s t e d..... I had my hysterectomy on Novemeber 1. Is this normal? My sleeping patterns were whacky before but now I go to bed usually around 2am and make myself get up around 9am. See, I home school and this is a problem.
I don't get enthusiastic about things like I used to, either. Like, oh lets go do... Its gone. Can anyone relate to this or am I a lone ranger here?

Re: Three months out & Running on Empty

Yes, sleep problems can be a problem in surgical or natural menopause. I have had it , but exercise helps me to wind down at night to sleep. I also had to cut out caffiene and sugar, so a very healthy diet is really important during this time in our lives.

Re: Three months out & Running on Empty

Thank you so much. I think I'm just going to have to be sure to be in bed by midnight on weekends and 11:00 during the week. This weekend I got 9 hours of sleep both Friday and Saturday nt's. I missed church this morning, but I am not cranky/tired/ripping my family's heads off.
