Question regarding period after d&c

I had a d&c done just over 3 weeks ago I got my 'regular' period yesterday. I was dying! They always are terrible hence the future TVH but I was popping pills like nothing and it wasn't even taking the edge off. I don't know if the d&c could of exasterbated it not? I filled my script from the dr (Mefenamic) and it also did nothing.
The only positive in any of it is this is my second last period!!! Yay!

Add on I have prolapse if the helps with knowing what is going on
