I had my LSH on 9/28 so I'm at 3 1/2 weeks post op. I'm feeling really good now but up last week I was extremely tired because I believe I didn't have the right dose of HRT. I'm on a lower dose now and feel much better so it may have been estrogen overdose. As for pain I only feel little tinges of pulling around my left incision when I lift something too heavy or laugh too hard but I do have some bowel pain when a BM starts. That just started a week ago, it wasn't immediately after surgery. I'm also having some bladder tenderness when I pee but nothing serious.

Overall I've had some pain but nothing compares to what I suffered with during my periods. My biggest complaint would be that I still tire easily and I have some brain fog/confusion but it gets better every day.

I am now so pleased that I had my surgery this way. It took me about 3-4 weeks to feel normal again. But, I was doing things (slowly) at 1-2 weeks. I may just be a slower healer, but thought I would add this for anyone reading this that may be taking longer than dr. said to recover. I had to keep reminding myself that my insides had the same things done to them as everyone else, I just wasn't as hurt on the outside. But, overall, very glad I did the surgery this way!

Have any of you experienced migraines if you had your ovaries removed? I had severe migraines before so that was one of the reasons for removing my remaining ovary was because it was suspected that they were hormonal. Since I had surgery I have been having a migraine every single day. I wonder if the patch will make it better or if it will make it worse--- I am so confused. Also--I have a huge lump on my incision. I had a hematoma right after surgery and when it disolved it caused bruising across my stomach. Now my incision has about a 1 by 1 inch lump in it. I don't know if this is normal or not. I have a 1 week checkup tommorrow with my dr.
