Anyone on Yaz or Keppra?

FYI I have a doc appt Monday to get this checked. In the meantime wondering if anyone else might have a clue what's going on with me now.

Started Yaz 3 weeks ago, I've been heavy spotting for several days. I was also on Keppra to control my migraines. Been off that for 2 weeks after 3 years of it, doing fine now with no migraines. But Wed. I started having these weird "shock" feelings every 3-5 minutes only when I'm up walking around, doesn't matter what I'm doing. I feel like one of those bug zappers! lol They only last for 2-3 seconds but I also feel like I'm going to faint when it happens. It's really getting aggravating!!! Has anyone else every experienced this weird thing? The only changes have been going on the Yaz & coming off the Keppra, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Sometimes I feel like I'm falling apart! Any help out there!

Anyone on Yaz or Keppra?

For future reference, the Keppra is what caused my bug zapper feeling. Doc said it should go away within another week. She said she's only had 2 other patients have this happen after stopping the Keppra. It's a very odd feeling to go buzzzztttt every vew minutes! Posted this just in case anyone else ever experiences this with Keppra.
btw good thing I made the appt, for now I have a bladder infection! I just keep laughing and xing the days on the calendar. What else ya gonna do?!?

Thanks for sharing! I take Keppra daily for migraines and will store your post away in case I am ever taken off of Keppra.

I hope the zaps go away soon!

Anyone on Yaz or Keppra?

Interesting, my youngest DD takes Keppra for seizures! I didn't know you could take it for migraines!

Anyone on Yaz or Keppra?

I have had chronic migraines for the past 6 years. I've had them last up to 6 weeks with no relief. The Keppra was the only thing that worked for me. I had to take zoloft along with it to help with the drastic mood swings it gave me. I recommend it for anyone suffering with migraines & nothing else works. I had to see my neurologist every 6 mos for a check up, but it was worth it to be rid of them. Hoping now that I can stay off of it with no migraines, if not, I'll go back on it.

BTW Weiser, the zaps are getting fewer! Buzzztttt lol
